Letter 5 - 21 August 2000 CARD ENCLOSED Hello Chris, Dave - CAT! Sorry about the ugly card, it was this or nothing. I wanted this to be totally different from anything I've written to you before because I know that you may think that I'm just going through all kinds of hell and stuff. Please be assured that I'm alright, regardless of what you hear in the news or read in the papers. Your penfriend, the guy on life row is the strongest of them all. They are not beating me, using the thumb screw, or the rack on my ass. I'm doing just fine, you wouldn't believe how the past two weeks has been, but I'll tell you later, I just want you to try and not worry too much, and the only thing I want you to think about is this card!! You've been so wonderful, I appreciate all 3 of you. I have coffee - food - paper like you wouldn't believe - so please - no paper - or envelopes - I'm better than ok. Chris, I have 15 pounds of computer paper! 5000, sheets of typing paper, 600 sheets of paper like this one, or 12 pads. 1,700 envelopes, with 200 being legal envelopes 10x13. Plus I'm working on a surprise for you. So don't worry, Anthony is fine, enjoy your card. Say a fat hello to Dave for me. I just luv y'all so much Hope to hear from ya soon! Bye now
