Anthony (and Claude) have no money (hence being stuck with a state lawyer who has done very little to help him). He needs money for stamps and to buy food and stuff like soap, razors, deodorant and writing paper and envelopes. There are several ways that you can help Anthony out.

Sending Money

Money Order slips to pay dollars into Anthony’s inmate account can either be obtained by contacting the Texas Department of Criminal Justice by phone or mail; or by asking Anthony to send you a Money Order slip in his letter to you. The latest – and quickest way to send money (involves a small charge) is to process the transaction online. To do this you:

Go to www.jpay.com. YOU WILL NEED A CREDIT CARD! The system requires an 8 digit reference no. so for Anthony you would put in 00999289 and then choose ‘State Facilities’ when asked which type.

Please remember:

1. Anthony’s first name is ‘Charles’ – so all transactions and letters should be addressed to him as Charles Anthony Nealy
2. If you send money you MUST write to him to let him know, otherwise he will have no way of knowing that there is money in his account!.

Sending Books

Anthony and Claude both love reading! You can send either of them new books via Amazon.com. He likes historical novels, mysteries, thrillers, politics and philosophy.
