Lack of preparation
of defense The defense lawyers had clearly prepared no defense for Anthony Nealy. When Mr Nealy was being sentenced, they called him into the holding cell where he was asked if there was 'anyone' he could call to defend him! The motives of the defense were clearly not in the best interest of the client. During the trial for
example, both Prosecutor and Defender were overheard to be discussing
the joint purchase of a boat at the start of a trial.
